Brewery passivation system
Keeping your brewery's stainless steel optimally passivized is critical to keep your breweries equipment in top notch shape. Free iron oxide, when exposed to atmospheric conditions, can allow surface rust to form on 304ss and 316ss.
Citrasurf 3020 can simply be run through your standard CIP procedure at a ratio of 1-10gal water, run for 30 minutes at room temp, then allowed to air dry without rinsing.
For new stainless steel equipment, or as part yearly routine preventative maintenance procedure, passivation with Citrasurf's line of citric acid based passivation systems eliminates free iron from becoming exposed to oxygen.
